CIRCAID COVER-UP

The CircAid Cover-Up is a convenient and easy way to give your CircAid garment a more refined look. The silky fabric slides on easily and reduces snags and catches on clothing. The cover-up does not provide therapeutic compression but can protect your wrap garments for a longer life. This silky material also makes it easier to slide over your pant leg.

The Cover-UpCover Up garment will come standard with your CircAid Juxtafit Essential Wrap garment and your CircAid Juxtafit Premium. However, this garment will fit easily over most compression wrap garments with a max calf circumference of 80cm. On all wrap garments, the Velcro is the first thing to wear out; therefore, we want to protect that Velcro to give our garment a long life.

COMPRESSION WRAP GARMENTS

Compression Wrap garments have proven effective for treating edema and lymphedema. A  recent study of Adjustable Compression Wrap (ACW) garments concluded that compression wraps for lymphedema were not inferior to custom-made flat-knit garments. Compression wrap garments proved advantageous in the maintenance phase of complex decongestive therapy (CDT) for lymphedema. The compression wraps prove easier to don and doff. They also showed a continuation reduction in the lim,b, whereas the flat knit stocking did not.
