JUZO COMPRESSION WRAP CALF

Today, I’m excited to introduce you to Juzo’s Versatile Compression Wrap Calf. Unlike other compression garments, this Juzo wrap is a short stretch compression garment with high working pressure (30-60 mmHg), designed to move lymphatic fluid out of the affected limb effectively. This makes it suitable for the decongestion and maintenance phases of lymphedema treatment.

REMOVABLE VELCRO

The Velcro of this garment is removable and replaceable. (Velcro tabs can be purchased separately). This allows for easy adjustment of the garment straps as the lymph fluid moves out of the affected limb, causing possible fluctuation in size. In addition, because the Velcro is removable, it also allows for the cutting down of straps when necessary as reduction occurs.

LOW PROFILE

Juzo’s uniquely designed notches and minimal strap overhang help prevent gapping and bulk. This also gives the Juzo Compression Wrap garment a very low profile, fitting under most clothing easily.

SLIP-ON STRETCH PANEL

Juzo has redesigned this compression wrap garment with a slip-on stretch panel to secure the garment for easy donning and doffing. However, if you have difficulty bending down to slip the garment over your foot, you can still get this Juzo garment without the stretch panel.

This is also a reversible compression garment, giving you the choice of a beige or black wrap garment. Not only that – but by being reversible, you have a new fabric to attach the Velcro. Those who have used Velcro wrap garments know that it’s not just the Velcro that wears out but the material it connects to. This can give you nearly twice the life of a comparable compression wrap garment.

LINERS AND FOOT COMPRESSION

The Juzo Compression Wrap garment comes with a pair of Full-Foot liners. These liners compress the foot and ankle, while the rest of the stocking is a liner under the wrap garment. Also available is a pair of open-toed anklets with a separate stockinette liner. If the anklet or the full foot liner does not provide enough compression, Juzo also makes a compression foot wrap for additional foot compression.

VERSATILE  SIZING

Still, the Juzo Compression Wrap for lower legs has another advantage: sizing. It comes in Regular and Long lengths for a more exact fit and a max calf size, accommodating a larger calf with a smaller ankle. Extender straps are also available to accommodate additional sizing.

CARE AND MAINTENANCE OF JUZO COMPRESSION WRAP CALF

Maintaining your Juzo Compression Wrap Calf is simple and straightforward. Start by removing all the half-circle Velcro from the straps. Then, machine wash the garment in warm water, preferably using a garment bag. Tumble dry on a low heat setting. To ensure the longevity of your Juzo Wrap, avoid using bleach, chlorine, fabric softeners, or other laundry additives.
