1. What do you charge for shipping?

The Compression Closet will cover standard shipping fees! Most products will ship the same day and should arrive within the week. (Please note: we only ship to the continental USA.)


2. Do you bill insurance?

The Compression Closet was designed for those needing compression that do not have insurance coverage, or very little coverage. We do not bill insurance of any kind, however if you would like to submit these products to your insurance company, your receipt has the necessary codes for billing. You may submit your receipt along with your doctor’s prescription to your insurance company for possible reimbursement.


3. What if I am not happy with my garment?

It is our goal at The Compression Closet to help you to receive the correct compression garments the first time! With the help of your therapist, we are not anticipating many needs for returns. However, sometimes garments just do not work and we will be happy to exchange or reimburse payment for such garments within the first 30 days of purchase. Please contact us at 815-342-0370 if you wish to return a garment.


4. I do not have access to the internet, can I still order?

We understand that some of our customers might not have access to the internet or do not want to share credit card information on the website. If this is the case, please feel free to call and order over the phone at 815-342-0370. You will either need your SKU# from your therapist or measurements so that we may assist you in purchasing the correct size and garment.


5. What if I do not find the product I am looking for?

The Compression Closet has narrowed the number of garments down to those we feel work best for the most amount of people dealing with lymphedema. However, we can order any product from any of the manufacturers we have listed on the site. We would be happy to assist you to find your desired product, simply call to order with the necessary size and style information.


6. Do I have to be working with a therapist or doctor in order to purchase garments?

Although it is not mandatory that you be working with a medical professional to order compression garments, we highly recommend that you do. A medical professional will best be able to access the type of garment and the compression level best suited to your need. We are professional fitters at The Compression Closet, not medical professionals, and will defer to your medical professional for recommendations.
