NETWORKING AND EDUCATIONAL WORKSHOP

This Zoom online class offers the latest and greatest information about lymphedema. Shoosh, the founder of Lymphedema Seminars, has provided these online classes since Covid shut down her in-person seminars. This day-long event offers a wealth of knowledge and a chance to network and collaborate with others in the lymphedema industry. This seminar is Scheduled for Saturday, October 21st, from 10 am-7 pm CST and offers 7 CEUs for lymphedema therapists. Lower body lymphatics will be the theme of this class. There will be presentations from Karen Ashforth, MS, OTR, CLT-LANA, Leslie Bell, DPT, CLT-LANA, Missy Baylor, OTS, LMIT, CLOT-LANS, CSWS and Vicki Ralph, MPPA, OTR/L, CLT-LANA.

KAREN ASHFORTH

If you have attended Lymphedema Seminars, online workshops, and live seminars previously, you probably know Karen Ashforth. Karen has been one of our speakers for years. She has a compassionate nature and is highly dedicated to her patients and the field of lymphatics. Considered an expert in the clinical use of pneumatic compression, she has participated in developing numerous devices and appliances. Additionally, she is an adjunct professor at the University of the Pacific in the Doctoral Physical Therapy Program. Karen will give a presentation on “Treating Lower Limb Fibrosis, ” which will provide you with tools to return to your clinic immediately.

LESLIE BELL

Lesli has been one of Lymphedema Seminar’s prized speakers for many years and is always an exciting presenter. She has devoted much time to studying and solving complicated problems for patients with lymphatic dysfunction, and she always has fantastic, creative, and accessible therapeutic suggestions that are “outside the box.” Dr. Bell is always very excited to have the opportunity to share her observations and innovative treatment techniques with her colleagues, so we hope you join us to hear her speak on “Pumps & Tools for Treating Lower Limb Lymphatic Dysfunction” at this upcoming workshop.

MISSY BAYLER

Missy is another of our long-time speakers offering unique and essential wound treatment tools. This topic is necessary for our lymphatic dysfunction patient population, and Missy has been creating special treatment techniques for years. You will have tools to use when you show up for work the next week! Join us to hear her speak on “Skin & Wound Care for Lower Body.”

VICKIE RALPH

Vicki has been an instructor since 2010 for Klose Training and has been involved with research to establish guidelines for Manual Lymphatic Drainage. She is a wealth of knowledge in the field of garments, so you won’t want to miss her presentation on “Choosing Garments for Lower Body Lymphedema.” Always creative and innovative, she tackles some of the most complex garment challenges.
